Instructions for adding Rich Media to your site...
In order to include video streaming into your site from Barbwires, you will need to have your video located here on Barbwires, then follow these simple steps:
1. The first step is to locate your video
2. Use the mouse to "mouse-over" your video
3. Look at the status bar at the bottom of the browser
4. No status bar, go to View and turn it on
5. Write down the link to your video
6. This is the hyperlink you need to link "your" rich-media icon to
7. Now create an ICON, that describes the video, if your not sure what an icon is, then start with step 1 and repeat the loop endlessly
8. Describe the video so that others will have a good idea what your presenting
9. Create an "anchor" to the hyperlink to your video, using the hyperlink recorded
10. Tell your friends, fans, and audience to check out your stuff on "YOUR" site.
The cool thing is that the video will open from your web site, where all information about your band is available. This opens a media player (yes, it's Microsoft), that plays your video - and if you did it right - NEVER leaves your site!
If you do not have a video located on our site, and your in the Boston area, email us and arrange to have us visit one of your gigs to tape a show, and we will post one song here all for free!
We do not expect or require a mention on your "Media" or "Videos" page, in fact we discourage it, but we do encourage you to include us on your "Links" page, if you have one. You can right click on the logo below and save it, then link it to Barbwires.Com, and we will appreciate it!
